GEEK this look with the following materials:
- Marvel Legends Captain America 75th Anniversary metal shield
- Wall Control galvanized steel pegboard 16" x 32" (2 Qty.)
- Captain America magnet
- EPDM tie down
- LED lights (that comes with magnets on the back)
- Pegboard hook
- Screwdriver and screws
DIY (Do It Yourself) by following these steps:
- Hang up the pegboard using screwdriver and screws
- Install peg hook
- Apply LED light magnets and Captain America magnet (DIY here) onto pegboard
- Loop EPDM tie down around straps on shield
- Hang shield onto pegboard hook
BAM! Captain America shield wall display !
This 1:1 scale metal shield from Hasbro does not come with any display options, so here's one way to hang it on the wall. Any type of pegboard can be used, but I like look of the steel pegboard from Wall Control. Another good thing about metal is that magnets can be used. The 27-LED portable work lights from Harbor Freight have magnets on the back (so that gives the option of back-lighting the shield). Other types of LED lights can also be used, but I found this to be the easiest and cheapest.
