GEEK this look with the following materials:
- Poplar wood (get length cut to size at Home Depot / Lowes)
- Drill, drill bit, and counter-sink
- Hammer and finishing nails
- Wood filler
- Wood glue
- Sandpaper
- Paint
- Screws
DIY (Do It Yourself) by following these steps:
- Drill holes and counter-sink where you want to connect the back wood piece
- Glue and then screw in back wood pieces together
- Glue and then hammer in finishing nails to connect front wood piece
- Fill holes with wood filler
- Use sandpaper to make smooth
- Paint
- Drill holes for wall mounting
BAM! - Display Ledge!
This DIY is really easy to do and can be used to display tons of different things. Like action figures and for displaying your Halloween accessories. Picture frames and books also look great on them. They can be painted any color and can be any length. Moreover, these display ledges are low profile and does not take up too much physical / visual space.
