GEEK this look with the following materials:
- Star Wars toy lightsaber (form Rubies)
- Curtain, curtain rod, brackets, & hardware (all from Ikea)
- Tools (Allen wrench, screwdriver, drill)
DIY (Do It Yourself) by following these steps:
- Remove collapsible blade from lightsaber
- Insert curtain rod into opening of lightsaber
- Install curtain hardware using tools
- Hang curtains and lightsaber rod onto hardware
BAM! Lightsaber curtain rod!
For this DIY, I used a Halloween lightsaber accessory from Rubies. The lightsaber blade can be easily removed and it also has a blade "holder" that can be used to clamp the curtain rod in place. This is the Darth Vader model, but any style can be used.
