DC COMICS SUPERMAN ARTWORK PHOTO FRAME MAT-BOARD DIY

More photos and DIY detail after the Jump!

GEEK this look with the following materials:
- 4” X 6” photo frame that comes with a mat-board
- Comic page (actual or printout)
- Ruler
- X-acto knife
- Pencil
- Tape

DIY (Do It Yourself) by following these steps:
- Place comic page onto a table (facing up)
- Take mat-board out of the photo frame
- Position mat-board onto comic page
- Trace outline of mat-board onto comic page using pencil
- Cut an "X" on comic page for the photo opening using knife and ruler
- Cut out the corners of comic page using knife and ruler
- Fold comic page onto the mat-board and then tape in place
- Place mat-board back into frame

BAM!  Picture frame with custom mat-board!

This is another easy DIY that features comic artwork as a border (instead of a plain white mat-board). Although the black & white comic page looks cool and makes the photo pop out, I plan to see how a colored comic page will look next time (as a future DIY project). Always experiment to see what works best for your situation!
