GEEK this look with the following materials:
- 8" X 14.8" coin case & trinket display frame (from Michaels)
- Star Wars Lego minifigures
- Lego black plate 2x4
- Dap silicone caulk (Alex Fast Dry)
DIY (Do It Yourself) by following these steps:
- Open display frame
- Apply the Lego plates onto the frame's shelves using silicone caulk
- After caulk dries, place minifigures onto the Lego plates
- Close display frame
BAM! Star Wars Lego minifig display!
This frame hack is so easy to do once I realized that this coin case will accommodate Lego minifigures perfectly! I wanted to initially use removable mounting squares to tape down the Lego plates, but it didn't stick well. So I decided to use silicone caulk instead and it works great (because it doesn't damage the Lego plates or the wood shelf). It is also easily removable in case you want to use the frame for something else. Just make sure to apply a small amount to ensure easy removal in the future. Arranging the minifigs is up to you, but I decided to arrange them be order of appearance.
