MARVEL KAWAII BABY INFANT ONESIE INTO PILLOW DIY
More photos and DIY details after the Jump!
GEEK this look with the following materials:
- Marvel Kawaii Iron Man onesie
- Marvel Kawaii Spider Man onesie
- Iron-on adhesive (from Michaels)
- Iron and ironing board
- Scissors
- Pillow stuffing
- Stuffed toys - itty bittys (from Hallmark)
DIY (Do It Yourself) by following these steps:
- Cut off legs and arms of onesie using scissors
- Use iron to apply iron-on adhesive to seal bottom of onesie
- Use iron to apply iron-on adhesive to seal arms of onesie
- Insert pillow stuffing through the top of onesie (fill half way up)
- Fold in the top of onesie
- Use iron to apply iron-on adhesive to seal the top of onesie
- Fill up the remaining pillow stuffing though the little button opening in back of onesie
- Snap button shut
BAM! Marvel comics pillows!
Instead of throwing out infant onesies once your baby has outgrown them, convert them into "throw" pillows. The pillow stuffing is also from a bed pillow that was in storage. Therefore, this DIY project shows how to re-purpose items that were not being used. The iron-on adhesive is very simple to use and best of all ... no sewing needed!
