GEEK this look with the following materials:
- LED puck lights with remote control (Capstone brand)
- Neca collector's club Spider-Man (Version 2) statue
- Pedestal stand from last week's blog entry
DIY (Do It Yourself) by following these steps:
- Remove Spider-Man stature from it's packaging
- Remove acrylic platform top from pedestal stand
- Put packaging into the pedestal stand
- Place LED puck lights into pedestal stand (on top of packaging)
- Place acrylic platform back onto pedestal stand
- Place statue on top of acrylic sheet
- Turn on LED lights with remote control
BAM! Lighted platform!
For part 4 of tricking out the pedestal stand, lighting is added. I like these lights because they are LED, they are battery operated, they can be turned on/off by remote, and the brightness can also be adjusted by remote. The up-lighting on Spidey looks great!
